Gas barrier performance of Nichigo G-Polymer™
Even while breaking down crystallinity, through the strong hydrogen coupling capability of
Nichigo G-Polymer™, gas barrier performance has been dramatically improved compared to
conventional PVOH.
Nichigo G-Polymer™ performs better oxygen barrier than Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol(EVOH), 30 - 600
times better in dry condition.
Sample : solution coating film (Single layer film is used for Nylon 6 and
Polypropylene)
Measurement conditions: 20℃, dry
Nichigo G-Polymer™ demonstrates the highest hydrogen gas barrier performance among
thermoplastic resins.
